How you setup your day is all about the questions that you ask. Here I share 3 simple questions to keep at the forefront of your mind to keep you focused, embodied and intentional as you move through your day.
- What can I do to support myself today?
- What’s most important to me?
- What do I need right now?

Lets look into each question in more detail
1. What can I do to support myself today?
This question connects you with yourself and your body. It helps you to stop, tune in and see what you need in a moment. The answer can be – “I need to make sure that I get even just a 10 minute walk in”, “I need to eat something healthy today”, “I need to be conscious of drinking water”
2. What’s most important to me today?
If, at the end of today you were reflecting on your day, what would make you happiest? Is it a task you completed, or a phone call you made, or something you said no to. Or is it how you were with your kids or your friends/ partner. What’s most important to you?
When faced with a decision, check in with this to ask yourself if it brings you further away from or closer to what’s most important.
3. What do I need right now?
This question can be used throughout the day to tune into your stress levels, let go of feeling you should be doing something else, and check in with yourself.
Again let all the answers be simple and related to yourself. Yes, it might be most important that someone does something for you today, but it’s out of your control, so let you answers be what you can do.
These questions, when used regularly, enable you to take back your power, develop your instincts as you tune into your body and cultivate a kinder relationship to yourself.
And also you will have more meaningful, fulfilling and productive days.
