Shamanism is, first and foremost, a philosophy, a perspective on life and a way of being, that is in harmony with all things. You do not have to believe in anything or subscribe to any ideals in order to explore shamanism or benefit from a shamanic session.
Shamanic Therapy is rooted in ancient practices but with a modern day twist. It is the oldest spiritual tradition in the world and according to anthropologists, it has existed for over 100,000 years . They have found evidence that it has been practiced in many countries such as Siberia, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, Greenland, North and South America.
Most of these traditions have been wiped out of the landscape, some have survived but now the interest in reviving and restoring these powerful practices have, in my experience, been renewed.
In ancient times, the shaman was the man or woman to whom the villagers would go to when they experienced any physical, mental or emotional ailment. The shaman “medicine bag” as such, was full of remedies, tools and techniques gifted from nature and from which the appropriate remedy would be selected. The shaman was the modern day equivalent of the healer, doctor, priest and priestess, psychotherapist, mystic, and storyteller.
In this modern day we have lost our connection to nature and its medicine. As human beings of energy we can restore once again what we have lost through these ancient practices.
I have spent the last number of years studying this amazing therapy and it has brought me so many gifts, insights and wisdom.

There are a number of tools that we use the two most common being Imbas and Soul Retrieval.
Although the term Soul Loss may be unfamiliar to you, examples of it are well know by other names. Someone dies and the bereaved “deadens” for a while.
