Remedies, tools and techniques gifted from nature to restore your energy back to balance.
Shamanism is, first and foremost, a philosophy, a perspective on life and a way of being, that is in harmony with all things. You do not have to believe in anything or subscribe to any ideals in order to explore shamanism or benefit from a shamanic session.
Shamanic Therapy is rooted in ancient practices but with a modern day twist. It is the oldest spiritual tradition in the world and according to anthropologists, it has existed for over 100,000 years . They have found evidence that it has been practiced in many countries such as Siberia, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, Greenland, North and South America.
Most of these traditions have been wiped out of the landscape, some have survived but now the interest in reviving and restoring these powerful practices have, in my experience, been renewed.
In ancient times, the shaman was the man or woman to whom the villagers would go to when they experienced any physical, mental or emotional ailment. The shaman “medicine bag” as such, was full of remedies, tools and techniques gifted from nature and from which the appropriate remedy would be selected. The shaman was the modern day equivalent of the healer, doctor, priest and priestess, psychotherapist, mystic, and storyteller.
In this modern day we have lost our connection to nature and its medicine. As human beings of energy we can restore once again what we have lost through these ancient practices.
I have spent the last number of years studying this amazing therapy and it has brought me so many gifts, insights and wisdom.
You don’t need to have any experience of energy to try Shamanic therapy, all you need is an open heart and the willingness to let go of what no longer serves you.
The aim on shamanic therapy to restore the energy of a person back to balance. When we go through a trauma or stressful event this can adversely affect our energetic system resulting in limiting beliefs, physical ailments
There are a number of tools that we use the two most common being Imbas and Soul Retrieval.
The basic premise is that when ever we experience trauma, a part of our vital essence separates from us in order to survive the experience by escaping the full impact of the pain. What constitutes trauma varies from one individual to another. Soul loss can be caused by whatever a person experiences as traumatic. even if another person would not experience it as such.

Although the term Soul Loss may be unfamiliar to you, examples of it are well know by other names. Someone dies and the bereaved “deadens” for a while. There’s a car accident and someone notices that you’re “not the same” after. A relationship ends and your friend tells you that “the spark has gone” out of your eyes. Or it might be that you feel “spaced out” or “all over the place”, you experience gaps in memory from your childhood or you feel fragmented in some way.
Soul retrieval is for you if you want to deepen your connection to yourself, to the people in your life or to the Earth.
Soul loss can be observed today as a psychological phenomenon in the every day lives of the human beings around us. loss of soul appears in the form of a sudden onset of apathy and listlessness; the joy has gone out of life, initiative is crippled, one feels empty, everything seems pointless.
